Paleontology Collections and Research
Broward College’s John H. Payne Hall (Building 7 on Central Campus) houses a number of fossil collections, some of which are displayed in the cases installed in the corridors of the building.
Some of the collections include whales and dinosaurs, as well as local vertebrates and information on past microfossil research utilizing the Ocean Drilling Program (ODP). The Broward College Graves Museum Carol Jacobs Ammonite Collection is also available for viewing at the Museum of Discovery and Science in downtown Ft. Lauderdale as well as on our website.
