General Biology – BSC 1005

BSC 1005 General Biology is a course designed to give students an understanding of principles in Biology while focusing primarily on the nature of activities of living organism. Course primarily for non-science majors. No co- or prerequisites.

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this course is to provide non-science majors with an overview of basic concepts of biology. It is intended to contribute to a well rounded general education and to provide a foundation for making educated decisions as citizens in matters which relate to biology. Finally, it is hoped that a greater knowledge of the living world will lead to a greater appreciation of it.
