Intermediate Web Scripting

Course Description

This course covers intermediate client and server side scripting concepts. Students will learn how to incorporate HTML5 APIs, AJAX, XML and JSON in web sites as well as use popular client and server side scripting libraries and frameworks in web site development.

General Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to:

  1. learn to use HTML5 APIs.
  2. use Client-Side Scripting libraries in a web application.
  3. use Client-Side Scripting frameworks in a web application.
  4. use Server-Side Scripting libraries in a web application.
  5. use Server-Side Scripting frameworks in a web application.
  6. learn to use AJAX, XML and JSON in a web application.
