Biography

Hello! My name is Emily S. Howard. I started my life on the opposite coast in Corvallis, Oregon and have been trying to get to the East Coast all my life. I lived on the West Coast for three years of her life and then moved to Denver, Colorado. Curiosity in the fourth grade helped me in a documentary called the “Creation of the Universe”. Astronomy and Physics was the future and with a few fun deviations into Biology and Geology, I entered the University of Denver. Continuing onto Florida International University, I made it to the East coast; where I earned my Masters of Physics by studying Blazars, the furthest objects observed by telescopes. After this foray into the deep Universe, my dream job awaited: teaching for Broward College as an Associate Professor in Astronomy & the Physical Sciences.

My other interests range from science fiction, movies, and raising funds for medical research.
