2023 AHCD SpringFest

Presents the 2026…

Lenses & Lyrics That Carry Us

In 2021, the Seahawk Writing Conference began with a simple idea borrowed from a film: if we build it—the space, the time, the moment—they will come. And you did. For the past few years, writers of all levels—novices and veterans alike—have gathered for our one-day conference to show up, create, write, and release what’s inside their minds onto the page—messy, raw, and beautifully imperfect. And this is only the beginning

We look forward to seeing you in-person on Friday, March 13, 2026. Stay tuned for registration information and other updates.

Students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to join us. Writers of all levels and genres should not miss this free event.

Location: 7200 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines Florida; Building 66, Rooms 139/156.
